Director of Finance & Accounting

Andrew Ahern

Andrew plays a pivotal role in overseeing and guiding Clear Height Properties’ financial health. With deep experience in acquiring, developing, and managing commercial real estate, Andrew collaborates closely with the executive team to determine the firm’s strategic priorities and plan. He is outstanding at building trusted relationships with our investor partners, as he intimately understands every aspect of growing the value of a portfolio.

Before joining Clear Height Properties, Andrew was with Trilogy Real Estate Group, a privately held real estate investment firm, for more than ten years. In his most recent role there, as Vice President of Acquisitions, he completed over $1 Billion in acquisition and new development opportunities and procured more than $750 Million in permanent and construction financing. Andrew also previously served in a variety of accounting and asset management roles with Trilogy.

Andrew earned his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Miami University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois.

Managing Director of Asset Management

Kevin Bufalino

Drawing upon thorough financial analytics, creative problem solving, operational and leadership experience, Kevin is charged with overseeing the asset management team responsible for the Clear Height Properties investment portfolio.

Kevin collaborates with our executive and property operation teams to develop business plans that maximize value and efficiency throughout each asset’s lifecycle. He proactively monitors market trends and industry developments, enabling Clear Height to leverage innovative strategies that drive tremendous performance and profitability.

Kevin brings more than a decade of experience across several asset types including hospitality, office, student housing and industrial real estate investments. Prior to joining Clear Height, Kevin held management level positions working with Geller Capital Partners and Ernst & Young. He holds a BA from the College of the Holy Cross and a master’s in accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Illinois.   

Project Manager, Project and Development Services

Brock Chenier

Brock brings more than four years of real estate and construction industry experience to the firm, most recently as assistant project manager at Savills, Inc. In his two years with the company, he helped manage more than one million square feet of tenant projects.

At Clear Height, Brock assists in the management of third-party assignments as well as construction and development services projects.

Brock holds a degree in finance from the University of Minnesota.

Executive Coordinator

Kailey Cooper

As executive coordinator, Kailey takes responsibility for communication and oversight of daily operations within the property management and project and development services departments. Kailey joined the team at Clear Height Properties in 2018, with more than six years of experience in office administration, facility management, tenant relations, event planning and hospitality.

Property Manager

Jacqueline Fabian

Motivated and hardworking, Jacqueline quickly earns tenants’ trust by demonstrating 100% commitment to shared success. She oversees every facet of managing properties in the Clear Height, from fostering positive relationships to ensuring smooth operations and vendor management.

Jacqueline has honed her skills in the commercial and industrial real estate sector over nearly ten years, working with firms such as Zeller, Cushman and Wakefield, and Golub Realty Services in the Chicago and Nashville markets. Throughout her career, Jacqueline’s priorities have been to uphold an exceptional level of professionalism and strive for continuous improvement in creating efficient, compliant processes and strong partnerships.

Analyst, Asset Management

Christian Flynn

A natural leader with an eye for detail, Christian provides thoughtful input and insights regarding assets within the Clear Height Properties portfolio. He works closely with the asset management team and leadership to evaluate and track property performance, manage operations, support leasing, and guide disposition efforts for Clear Height industrial and office assets.

Before joining Clear Height Properties, Christian developed his analytical and property management skills at Molto Properties and Shaker Management Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Iowa.

Managing Director of Property Management

Madison Forster

Responsible for driving the overall performance of the diverse Clear Height portfolio, Madison supervises our outstanding property management teams in assuring excellence in tenant relations, renovations and maintenance, investor reporting, risk management, and more.

She works closely with accounting and finance, asset management, operations, and leasing teams to develop and execute efficient, growth-focused strategies.

Madison comes to Clear Height with more than a decade of experience in property management and tenant relations. As a property manager for Sterling Bay, she optimized building operations and operating budgets for hundreds of thousands of square feet of commercial real estate. Prior to that, she was with CommonWealth Partners, where she coordinated services for the 1.2M SF Harris Bank Building.  

Madison is an Illinois real estate licensee, former BOMA Chicago Emerging Leader Committee chair, and currently sits on the BOMA Suburban Membership Committee. She holds a BA in business communication and is pursuing RPA^® certification.

Analyst, Acquisitions

Jackson Goldman

Armed with strong critical thinking and analytical skills, Jackson works closely with the Clear Height Properties executive and acquisitions teams to evaluate and underwrite new investment opportunities that suit our investment criteria and long-term strategy.

In addition to due diligence and financial modeling for potential acquisitions, he is consistently plugged into industrial property trends and opportunities within the Chicago market and across the Midwest.ace.

Before joining Clear Height, Jackson performed property analyses for RX Health and Science Trust. He holds a BS and a minor in business from Ohio State University, as well as specialized training in real estate modeling and technology.

Associate Asset Manager

Jordan Hirsch

After enjoying success in biomedical engineering and emerging technologies, Jordan found the perfect fit for his entrepreneurial mindset and analytical approach in the high-intensity world of commercial real estate. At Clear Height Properties, Jordan works with the asset management team to execute our business plans and maximize the performance of our industrial property portfolio.

A keen collaborator and creative problem solver, Jordan is an exceptional resource for internal teams as well as Clear Height Properties partners, as we seek to improve assets, optimize operations, and enhance value.

Before joining Clear Height Properties, Jordan worked in asset management and investor relations at LivBrook Capital. He also has experience in biotech and medical device sales, as well as developing and marketing innovative biotech products. Jordan holds a BS from Marquette University.

Property Manager

Nicole Hood

Nicole brings more than twelve years of experience managing complex properties, motivating teams and providing exceptional customer support to her role at Clear Height.

In her previous position with Rothbart Realty Company, Nicole managed commercial and industrial properties across more than 40 locations, providing 24-hour support as well as handling all maintenance, lease administration and service contracts. Before that, she oversaw a portfolio of more than 900,000 sq. ft. of commercial and retail space and coordinated a team of seven at Imperial Realty Company.

Trained as a paralegal and realty professional, Nicole understands rental law and municipal regulations as well as the value of outstanding customer service. She works closely with the Clear Height director of property management, vendors and service providers to ensure exceptional responsiveness and tenant satisfaction.

Director of Leasing

Max Hoye

With over a decade in commercial real estate, Max brings a strong perspective to his role as our Director of Leasing. His experience spans acquisition, asset management, leasing, and property management.

Prior to his engagement with Clear Height, Max led portfolio management and business creation as Vice President for a regional real estate investment firm.  Max has been recognized for outstanding property management of NBC Tower and O’Hare Plaza, commercial assets exceeding one million square feet each located in Chicago. He has also gained experience as a commercial broker and portfolio manager for real estate firms located in the Midwest.

Max is a licensed managing broker in the State of Illinois, graduated from Western Illinois University and holds a Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investment Certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology School of Architecture. He also sits on the City of Naperville Building Review Board.

Max resides in the West Suburbs and enjoys spending his time with family, on the golf course or cooking a new dish.

Associate Director of Acquisitions

Kevin Joyce

A lifelong athlete, Kevin brings a team-first attitude to Clear Height Properties. In his role on the acquisitions team, he is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and closing new investments. Previously at Clear Height, he served as an Analyst on the Acquisitions and Asset Management teams, where he sharpened his underwriting skills and contributed on initiatives where he supported the strategic oversight of the existing Clear Height portfolio.

Kevin earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and a minor in real estate from Notre Dame and previously served as an intern with Transwestern Real Estate Services in Chicago. He has been integrally involved as a volunteer with The Growing Initiative, an organization that supplies fresh produce to food banks, for more than 12 years.

Director of Property Operations

Erin Loszach

As director of Clear Height’s property operations team, Erin leads with a strategic, cross-functional approach to portfolio performance. She provides guidance and mentorship to the operations team while partnering closely with senior leadership to implement initiatives that drive operational efficiency and long-term value. Erin also oversees the annual budgeting process and plays a key role in developing standardized policies and procedures across the portfolio.

In addition to collaborating with the asset management, leasing, and acquisitions teams to strengthen due diligence, mitigate financial risks, and enhance lease administration processes, Erin fosters cross-departmental communication to ensure streamlined operations and informed decision-making.

Erin has worked in property management and tenant services since 2016, starting at the iconic Wrigley and Inland Steel buildings in Chicago before moving to multi-building portfolios for Hiffman National. While there, she assisted with the management of office and industrial properties across the Midwest, including an eight-million square foot industrial portfolio.

A licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois, Erin holds a BS from Southern Oregon University.

Director of Acquisitions

Ryan Maher

As a director of acquisitions, Ryan leverages CRE experience and deep relationships within the community to his position identifying and evaluating opportunities. His goal is to further relationships with brokers to facilitate deal making within the Chicago market and across the Midwest.

Before joining Clear Height, Ryan was a broker in the Chicago offices of NAI Hiffman, working with a brokerage team recognized by Crain’s as a Most Influential Brokerage Team in Chicago. The team was the 2017 NAIOP Office Transaction of the Year Award Recipient, 2017 Chicago Food Depository Real Estate Award Brokerage Transaction of the Year Nominee, 2018 and 2019 Chicago Food Depository Real Estate Awards Office Broker of the Year Finalist, and a CoStar Power Broker Recipient. Involved in more than 250 transactions, Ryan represented private companies, financial institutions, investors and developers in the leasing, acquisition, and disposition of commercial assets.

Ryan is a licensed broker with the State of Illinois.

Director of Acquisitions

Rick Nevarez

A 10+ year commercial real estate veteran, Rick began his career with global industrial real estate investment trust Prologis, where he oversaw six million square feet of industrial and office real estate and coordinated multi-million-dollar disposition of industrial real estate to the City of Chicago/O’Hare modernization project.

Rick also worked at ML Realty Partners and assisted with the strategic leasing and disposition of Bridgestone Americas’ industrial real estate portfolio.

Rick is involved in the DePaul Real Estate Alumni Alliance; is a graduate of DePaul University, Driehaus College of Business; and is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois.

Executive Coordinator

Ashley O’Hara Marin

With experience spanning commercial property management and tenant relations as well as marketing, technology and managing teams, Ashley brings great energy and insight to Clear Height Properties.

Ashley collaborates with property management, project and leadership groups at Clear Height to ensure efficient operations across the company. She is recognized for her exceptional client relations skills as well as an ability to jump in quickly to move projects across the finish line.

Ashley is a graduate of the University of Missouri and a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois.

Lisa Penrod

Over her 20+-year career, Lisa has established herself as a meticulous, highly organized customer service, project management and finance professional.

A natural problem solver, Lisa ensures clear collaboration and communication between Clear Height Properties’ leadership, asset management and acquisitions groups. Her contributions to the company’s success span day-to-day administrative support and helping ensuring accuracy in building sales, purchases, and investor reporting.

Lisa holds dual bachelor’s degrees in business management and business finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Director of Culture and Talent

Meredith Pond

Responsible for advancing Clear Height Properties’ value-driven, people-first culture, Meredith lives by the philosophy that a happy team is a productive team.

Meredith manages Clear Height Properties’ human resources initiatives, including performance management, training and coaching, employee recognition, and all activities involved in attracting and supporting a superior, inclusive workforce. She also leads culture initiatives, which are focused on embedding the firm’s values into everything we do.

Meredith honed her skills and perspective over nearly ten years in HR strategy and administration at Kaleidoscope. She holds Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SCP) awards, as well as a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Career Enhancement Certificate in human resources from Illinois State University.

Director, Project and Development Services

Arturo Radilla

With a background in architecture, development and project management, Arturo has a unique talent for identifying ways to maximize asset value. He works with Clear Height acquisition teams to gauge opportunities and guides all aspects of buildout—from budgets and bidding to design, engineering and execution.

Before joining Clear Height Properties, Arturo directed and managed retail construction for Cresco Labs’ Sunnyside stores, actively overseeing up to 30 projects at a time. Additionally, he delivers experience as a team lead at a mid-size architecture firm and managing nationwide projects for Levy Restaurants.

Arturo holds a BA in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Director of Asset Management

Tom Seurynck

At Clear Height, Tom takes the lead in sourcing and executing the closing of new acquisitions, as well as evaluating current properties, determining how to best enhance various assets’ value, and timing their disposition.

Over his career of 25+ years, Tom has been a senior manager in financial services at Regency Centers, where he analyzed acquisition and development opportunities in the central US and assisted in asset management, leases, and dispositions. He also served as vice president of acquisitions and due diligence for Pine Tress Commercial Real Estate and worked with Marcus & Millichap and Wrightwood Capital.

Tom has an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago.

Director of Acquisitions

Jacob Swartz

Jacob assists the asset management and acquisition teams with sourcing, underwriting, and modeling current and prospective investments. His finance background, coupled with practical real estate experience, gives him a leg up in understanding the complexities of underwriting commercial real estate. In his previous roles, he gained valuable experience in investment strategies at High Ridge Financial, investor relations and sales at Morgan Stanley and financial modeling at Copper Beech.

Jacob graduated Cum Laude as a finance major at Miami University’s Farmer School of Business.

Senior Property Accountant

Joe Vitraelli

With an exceptional eye for detail and an analytical mindset, Joe delivers big value for the Clear Height Properties portfolio. As a senior member of the accounting team, Joe oversees daily transactional flows and reconciles financial and operational data to develop investor reports. He also collaborates closely with Clear Height accounting, property management, asset management, and project development team members to ensure our continued financial success.

Joe brings additional property industry expertise from Jones Lang LaSalle, where he ensured compliant, accurate accounting and reporting, as well as mentored other employees in accounting best practices. Before that, he provided accounting support for tax advisory and manufacturing firms.

Joe earned his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Illinois State University.
